Issue Position

Parents have the ultimate right and responsibility to make education decisions for their children. The government has no authority to interfere with those rights and responsibilities. School Administrators and Teachers should be directly accountable to parents and taxpayers for their performance as educators and stewards of public funds, which include full disclosure of expenditures. Home Schooling parents and Private Schools should enjoy the same enthusiastic support of their elected officials as Public School parents do.
